This tutorial is for beginners to learn how to install WordPress on Bluehost. I’ll be sharing with you the practical steps that will help you create your blog using WordPress.

I use Bluehost for my websites and those of my clients, and what I like about them is that they do not sell too much. They are simple, innovate to facilitate the management of WordPress and are one of the best.

Many of you may not know that Bluehost is one of the hosts officially recommended by WordPress—this is a big plus for the company.

What I like about Bluehost is that they have adjusted their servers for optimal performance when running WordPress. They provide unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage space, premium support and anything else you might need to run a WordPress blog successfully.

Bluehost recently made important improvements in terms of managing WordPress. This includes the use of free SSL, WordPress will be installed automatically and have made WordPress more secure on the bluehost server.

Complete Guide to Create a WordPress Blog on Bluehost

The self-hosted WordPress platform is one of the best platforms to start making blogs and earning money.

We have already shared a complete guide on creating a new blog and you can first refer to it to begin with.

So why sign up with Bluehost?

Bluehost offers standard cPanel hosting, provided with Fantastico –one of the simplest ways to install WordPress. You can also use the manual installation method of WordPress. However, I would suggest you use Fantastico because it is very effective and easy.

If you still have a hard time deciding whether Bluehost is what you need, I suggest you get started. It is imperative that any web host for WordPress meets certain technical requirements; Bluehost perfectly meets and surpasses these requirements. It can easily manage any medium-low traffic website. That being said, I still recommend using a WordPress cache plugin when using shared hosting / VPS.

Assuming you already have a Bluehost account (if you do not have one, get one here), you’re ready to start with this tutorial.

Bluehost has completely reorganized its web hosting and made it compatible with WordPress. Unlike the good old days when you had to manually create your blog, Bluehost will automatically installs and customise WordPress for you. If you followed the guide above and you just bought the hosting + free domain name from Bluehost, the installation of WordPress will start automatically.

It may take between 5 and 50 minutes. In case you see a screen like this

and you get stuck, log in to the Bluehost dashboard. Here’s what the new Bluehost dashboard looks like in 2018:
